The Huntington Beach City School District and its community partners have developed several effective strategies and protocols to employ in the event of an emergency, and drill reinforce these measures regularly throughout the year. 

Each Huntington Beach City School District school maintains and regularly updates a Comprehensive School Safety Plan. We strongly partner with local and county first responders, mental health professionals, and other agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and community.
