Please visit the enrollment website to register.

What documents are needed to register?

All forms can be found on the district enrollment website.

  • Verification of Identity
  • Proof of Residency
  • Completed Residency Verification Form
  • Student Services Questionnaire
  • Student Immunization Records
  • Health Immunization Form (TK - 1st Grade)
  • Other important documents to upload during online enrollment:
    • Student's birth certificate or valid passport.
    • Academic transcript or report card from the previous school. Prior school records are to be requested by the school site.
    • Student IEP/504 documents, if applicable.
    • GATE letter from the previous district, if applicable.
    • ELPAC language test documentation, if applicable.

Do I need to wait until I have all the required documents before I submit registration?

No, we encourage you to submit your registration as soon as possible and attach the required documents that you have available. This allows us to start processing your registration. Your school will contact you regarding any missing documentation.

Why does my child's TK registration show our home school when they will be enrolled at one of the Elementary sites that offer TK?

The enrollment system automatically assigns each registration to the student's home school based on home address.  However, since TK is only available at Eader, Hawes, Peterson, and Smith Elementary, the school office can access all TK registrations and obtain the documentation once online registration is completed.

How will I know which TK site my child will be assigned to?

Students whose home school is Eader will be enrolled at Eader until all spaces are filled.  Once spaces at Eader are filled, the student will be assigned to Hawes Elementary for TK.

Students whose home school is Hawes or Moffett will be assigned to Hawes Elementary TK.  Once spaces are filled at Hawes, the student will be assigned to a site with TK openings.

Students whose home school is Smith or Seacliff will be enrolled at Smith until all spaces are filled.  Once spaces at Smith are filled, the student will be assigned to Peterson Elementary for TK.

Students whose home school is Peterson will be enrolled at Peterson until all spaces are filled.  Once spaces are filled at Peterson, the student will be assigned to a site with TK openings.

I turned in some of my enrollment documents, but did not get assigned to my TK school.  Why?

A student's enrollment is not official until all required documentation has been submitted and verified by the school. Until that occurs, you are not officially enrolled and a spot at your home school is not guaranteed. Once spots are full at your home school, you will be placed at a school that has space available.

Students cannot attend school until their enrollment is fully processed.

What is the daily TK class schedule?

Please check your child’s school website.

Are school meals offered for TK/Kindergarten students?

Yes, all students have free school meals (breakfast and lunch).

Can I set up a tour of the school?

Please attend the Elementary Schools Open House on May 29, 2025, at 5 pm. Open House is an excellent opportunity to see our school and TK classrooms. Please note there are only TK classrooms at Hawes and Peterson Elementary School this year.

Is there before/after school care?

Yes, the Huntington Beach YMCA is located on our school campuses. For more information, call the YMCA directly at 714-964-7011.
